Hi Bulgaria is built by a small group of editors and a wider circle of contributors - hikers, hut wardens, monastery caretakers, fishermen on the Veleka, the people who answer our questions when nobody else can.
Editorial
The atlas is edited in Sofia by a small permanent team. We assign field reports, fact-check every entry, and reject anything that reads like advertising.
Photographers

Local tips
Hut wardens, mountain rescue volunteers, monastery caretakers, restaurant owners, train conductors. Most of what makes this atlas useful comes from people who do not write for a living. If you live in or near a place we cover and want to correct something, we would love to hear from you.
