Krastova Gora (Cross Forest)

Krastova Gora is a hilltop pilgrimage site marked by a concrete cross, chapels, and a small monastery complex in the central Rhodopes. It is associated in local belief with fragments of the True Cross, drawing large crowds on certain feast days. Outside major holidays it feels quiet, with forest walks and distant views.
