Boyana Church is the region’s UNESCO anchor and one of the most important medieval monuments in Bulgaria. The compact church is valued less for size than for its preserved frescoes and the tightly controlled visitor experience, which helps keep the interior calm. It sits at the foot of Vitosha, so it is easy to combine with the National History Museum or a short walk in Boyana. [2][7]

Kopitoto is a classic Sofia overlook on the western side of Vitosha, best known for its TV tower silhouette and broad views back across the city. It is one of the simplest ways to get a mountain-to-city panorama without committing to a hike.
