How to get there
From Sofia: 1h 50m via E79. Park at Pionerska lift base - 22 BGN/day.
By bus
Public transport
Daily bus Sofia → Sapareva Banya, then taxi to Pionerska (~20 min).

Layered shell, sturdy boots, 2 L water, sun cream, hat, light gloves above ridge.

Safety
Storms build fast after 14:00 in summer. Start at dawn. No cairns above the cirque.

A1 and Yettel cover the hut and most viewpoints. Spotty in the lower forest.

Water
Refill at the tap at hizha Sedemte ezera, or the spout below Ezeren vrah. Park rules forbid entering the lakes and rivers at all.
