Cape Emine

Wind-exposed promontory marking the conventional boundary between the northern and southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast and the end of the E3 Kom–Emine trail. Steep slopes drop to rocky inlets and remnants of military installations, while a lighthouse and small chapel sit above. Access tracks can be rough, and in bad weather the cape feels very isolated.

April–May sees improving trail conditions but exposed headland still gets strong winds and occasional storms.
Stable dry weather and long daylight favour cliff walks; afternoon heat manageable with sea breezes.
September–early November often dry with good visibility; reduced thunderstorms improve cliff-edge safety.
Frequent gales and slippery clay paths on the headland make winter approaches risky.

Sozopol Old Town
Peninsular old quarter of wooden Revival-era houses, cobbled lanes, and small churches perched above rocky coves. Fishing boats, small beaches, and archaeological remains make it a compact base for exploring the surrounding coast. Sunsets over the bay are especially photogenic from the southern ramparts.
