High-elevation paths become icy, avalanche-prone and are not maintained for regular hikers December–March.[2]

Raiskoto Praskalo is a narrow, 124.5‑metre waterfall dropping from Botev’s northern cliffs above Ray Hut in the Central Balkan National Park.[1][3] A marked trail from the Panitsite area near Kalofer climbs through forest and meadows to the hut, with the waterfall in full view only in higher sections. Snow and high water can make early spring crossings tricky.
